Jamie’s calls with clients sometimes take a bit longer than the work-related subject matter might imply; her convivial approach to account service creates friends, rather than clients, and comfortable banter replaces cold logistics. Jamie joined Ethix Insurance, now the Group Benefits and Insurance department of Vinoble Group, as Lead Administration and Office Manager in 2019, and assists clients with enrollment, billing and account services. Her professional background, however, is somewhat diverse, having worked alternately in technology and website design, public relations, medical services and bartending through the years. She studied Nutrition at University of Nevada Reno and Website Design and Development at Seattle Central Community College. Weekends might find Jamie boisterously rooting for any number of local sports teams, from the Sounders and Seahawks, to Tacoma’s more local organizations, or, perhaps just as boisterously pursuing her passion for crafts like sewing, for which her family doesn’t always understand the cheering. Her husband, Hector, is a social worker involved in the King County Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program, and their daughter is an avid reader and ice skater – not simultaneously, of course, unless the ice is cleared first.
